Liz Flores
Office Manager
Liz is our veteran & friendly office manager. She grew up in sunny California and lived in San Jose for most of her life. Liz started her journey in the dental field as a dental assistant over 16 years ago. She graduated from CCOC as a dental assistant in 2005. Being bilingual, she eventually transitioned to working front office. But you’ll still catch her helping out in the back sometimes…old habits are hard to break! While transitioning to working front office, she discovered that she thrived from building close relationships with patients. Constantly striving to provide exceptional patient care, she will be your greatest advocate as a patient. Her motto is “If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life!” She truly picked the right profession as working by her side never feels like work!
Liz has a charming daughter and three energetic boys. Her personal time is mainly spent with her family. They enjoy cooking new recipes together and have the occasional tickling match! There’s never a dull moment in her house and it is always filled with laughter.
Karen Cordova
Registered Dental Assistant
Karen graduated from Santa Clara ROP Dental Assisting program in 2016. She joined our team at Healthy Smiles Dental Care in 2019. Karen travels from Gilroy to be a part of our team. Our amazing patients and supportive environment make her commute worthwhile!
She was inspired to be in the dental field after her pleasant experience with having braces. She loves working as a dental assistant and it shows in the way she cares for our patients. She puts in her best work every day and goes out of her way to ensure every patient feels comfortable and safe.
Family is very important to Karen and she spends a lot of time with them. In her spare time on the weekends, she enjoys going hiking and kayaking with her family.
